Speaker. Author. Coach.
It’s all about “Food. Fitness. Fun.”
I understand the challenge of finding the right speaker. After attending and organizing hundreds of events and seminars I quickly realized that a successful event came down to the quality of the speakers. If they managed to connect and relate to the audience, we had a great event. If they didn’t, well…we had a what-was-that-all-about event.
My hope is that this page will make it easy for you to get the information you need to make the best decision possible.
Thanks for considering me. I am honored.

A Little Bit About Me
I am a recovering yo-yo dieter, who has learned how to make food preparation fun and working-out a habit, not a chore. I am a business woman, wife, daughter, sister and friend whose life is permanently busy. My seminars and lectures are tailored to motivate and entertain audiences to “turn their healthy on!” and to find the tools and the time to include good nutrition and consistent physical activity in their lives, no matter their age.
If you are expecting a dry, lecture-style presentation from this energizer health bunny – DON’T! My presentations are part entertainment, part education. As one guest said: “This much fun is probably illegal in some parts of the world.” My goal is to help people laugh at their bad habits and discover the joy of adopting new, healthier habits. So bye-bye diets, hello weight loss and healthy living.
Healthy living is my passion and I am a certified Fitness and Nutrition Coach, on top of holding a MBA from McGill University.
I have studied and worked in the finance industry in the New York City area for eight years and fully understand the challenges and pressures of working professionals. As a student, I have gained and lost the dreaded “Freshman 15,” and can relate to the stress and changes college students face every day. I have understood how small steps lead to big accomplishments and how the right mindset can help us achieve not only our health goals, but our professional goals as well.
I have written two books: “Slim Down Snacks Under 100 Calories” and “Quick Fix Healthy Breakfasts Under 300 Calories,” which are Amazon Bestsellers. I am currently working on another two books. I believe in social responsibility and part of the proceeds from the books go towards financing mircoloans to entrepreneurs in developing countries in the agricultural and food industry.
My website, www.HealthyCarrot.com has more than 10,000 unique visitors per month. In addition, I also reach over 30,000 people weekly through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
My Most Requested Topics
“Avoiding the Freshman 15”: Papers. Exams. Career fairs. Frat parties and midnight pizza runs. Between the fun and the serious many college students lose themselves. Learning how to be independent is a daunting and sometimes an intimidating task. In this high-powered one hour presentation, I break things down to 5 simple, easy-to-follow steps. The perfect presentation to help college students reach their maximum potential, maximize their energy levels and perform at their absolute best whether academically, professionally or socially.
“How to Lose Weight, Not Money”: Whether you need to lose 10 lbs, 20 lbs or 100 lbs, this presentation will get you there. I outline simple steps to get started and easy ways to stay motivated. This presentation helps audiences overcome the fear of carbs, understand how to truly read food labels and learn how to enjoy exercise. Everyone will be refreshed and motivated for change after this seminar, and get even closer to achieving their weight loss goals.
“Healthy Life Plan: From Reactive to Proactive”: Few people have a plan for their life. Most have a to-do list. Healthy eating and exercising are always the ones to get pushed for “tomorrow” pretty much indefinitely. Then a friend’s wedding, reunion or a dire health problem shows up and we start looking for the cookie cutter solution. In this presentation, I explain how to go from reactive to proactive and develop a plan for accomplishing priorities and incorporating healthy habits even in today’s fast paced, extremely demanding lifestyles.
“Working Out @ Work”: Corporate wellness programs are becoming integral parts of successful businesses. Realizing the value of having happy, healthy employees helps organizations recruit and keep the best minds in the industry. This presentation brings alignment between the busy, and often stressful, working environment and the need to lead a healthy lifestyle. From healthy lunch options to office fitness competitions, this presentation helps managers design the perfect working environment and employees utilize the right tools to succeed at and maintain the work-life balance.
