This is a traditional Healthy Carrot recipe! The key ingredient, you guessed it: CARROT! This smoothie is the perfect fruit and vegetable blend. I often take it with me for breakfast, whether traveling or running to a meeting. It has all the necessary nutrients to start the day off right: Lots of protein from the yogurt, good fats from the flax seed (and let’s not forget of that supernatural Omega-3), healthy fiber from the carrot, strawberry and banana and lots of vitamin-A and vitamic-C from the carrot and strawberry, respectively.

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 carrot, peeled
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 Tablespoon flax seeds
  • ½ cup 2% yogurt
  1. Slice banana in 1 inch medallions.
  2. Add strawberries, carrot, and banana slices to blender.
  3. Pour water.
  4. Sprinkle flax seeds.
  5. Add yogurt.
  6. Pulse all for about 1 minute.
  7. Enjoy!
